Is one capsule the same as the doses researchers studied?
No. One capsule holds about a third of the 1,500 mg of glucosamine used in the GAIT trial. (NIH, GAIT Trial News Release)
Chondroitin is about 4% of the trial's 1,200 mg a day.
No study looked at nerves. Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed.
